What is Charge Status?

Charge Status is the simplest way to monitor the charging state and battery level of your computer or mobile device. You install our Android app or Chrome extension, connect it to your Charge Status account and we continuously track your battery level and whether or not your devices are plugged in. Never run out of power again!

Why does this exist?

We now have many devices: phones, tablets, laptops, some plugged in all the time, some not. After a period when every time we looked for a specific tablet the battery was dead because we'd forgotten to plug it in, we thought: lets solve this once and for all. Charge Status is our solution: a simple install process, a clean dashboard that lists all your devices, tells you whether or not they are plugged in and what the current battery level is, and sends you a notification when the battery on any of your devices drops below a simple threshold.

How much does it cost?

See full pricing information, but if you only have 2 devices it is free! For up to 6 devices it costs $6.00/year, and for up to 18 devices it costs $20.00/year. The paid options include faster updates (the free plan is limited to once an hour) as well as a couple of extra bells and whistles.

Do I need to sign up or create an account?

Yes, so we can track your devices.

Is there a recurring charge?

No. Right now the payments are one-time. We will send you a payment reminder as you approach the end of your current subscription.

How do you handle payments?

We use Stripe for all our credit card payments. We also accept Paypal payments.

I want to do things with my charge status that you don't do?
